Who We Are
Professor Stacy Rogers , ERC’s founder and CEO, has been in the emergency response business for the past 35 years. He has worked with over 80 agencies in 15 states and internationally. He has responded to major incidents that included the Exxon Valdez oil spill, Yellowstone fires, Oakland Hill’s fire etc., over 100 Type I and II wildland fires throughout Canada and the United States, earthquakes, hurricanes, and rescue and recovery operations. He has degrees from the University of Hawaii, UC Davis and has delivered over 1500 professional courses and presentations.
    

Emergency Response Consultants (ERC) was started out of Mr. Rogers’ passion for the response industry. His life long experience in seeing disasters, natural and man-made, has given him an insight into the importance of responding in an appropriate manner. Stacy started using the ICS system actively in 1982 with the Department of Interior, Alaska Fire Service as a Hot Shot crewmember.

Stacy is also a master trainer and experienced adult education teacher. He has delivered all of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Professional Qualifications Board certification courses for Fire Instructor, Fire Officer, and Fire Inspector. He has taught over 200 college semester courses related to emergency response and has consulted with all facets of many governments and private companies.

Robert Egbert is the Vice President at Emergency Response Consultants. He is a proven executive, entrepreneur, former firefighter / first responder and Navy SEAL. His unique combination of government and private sector experience is a valuable asset to the cadre and consultancy of Emergency Response Consultants. As a Navy SEAL Robert was an SVD Pilot / Navigator, Primary Tactician, Point man and Scout Sniper. He also had broad responsibilities with diving, air operations and engineering. As a Scout Sniper he had extensive experience with large and small scale specific scenario training, evaluation and execution of security based response. As a fire fighter Robert conducted training at the North Bend Fire Training Academy. Additionally, he worked as a first responder alongside county paramedic units. As a rural based fire fighter, his experience spans structural and wildland events. It was here that Robert first gained experience in emergency preparedness evaluation, training and response. This experience combined with an extensive private sector and business portfolio provides for an effective and efficient integration of emergency and disaster preparedness best practices in all environments.

Mr. Jake Barancho is a Vice President of Logistics managing Carding, Planning, and Certification for Emergency Response Consultants. Jake works with multiple tracking, carding corporations to help ERC provide real time tracking during incidents. He is responsible for final plans, after actions, and improvement plans as well as certification records depository and documentation of formal exercises.
